The Brief

The Global Goals are an ambitious plan of action set out by the UN member states for people, planet and prosperity. They are universal, applying to all nations and people, seeking to tackle inequality and leave nobody behind. The ambition is to end extreme poverty and hunger by 2030.

Gourmet Pixel were commissioned to create the mobile apps (iOS & Android) to help raise awareness of "Project Everyone", part of the United Nations Global Goals Campaign.

The Process

Gourmet Pixel had to coordinate with a large number of partners throughout this global project. The mobile app was designed as a platform for users to "Tell Everyone" about the Global Goals via their favourite social media channels. 


The team at Gourmet Pixel designed and developed a highly innovative, feature rich app localised to 16 languages for a truly global audience. 
The app interacted with the world’s first global cinema advert, produced by Aardman and voiced by Liam Neeson and Michelle Rodriguez premiered globally in cinemas across 34 countries through SAWA.

The second screen feature of the mobile application allowed the audience to interact with cinema advert as part of the campaign.

The Outcome

As one part of a huge global campaign the mobile apps where hugely successful in raising awareness of the goals. Posts from users and celebrities such as Jamie Cullum, Richard Curtis and Tanya Burr were shared and viewed millions of times.
